MegaloGrowmon Custom is, as its name suggested, customized to enhance performance: The tip booster of the Vernier is readjusted to be able to rotate 72 degrees, beams are added to the front of the arm for multiple purposes and Pendulum Blades are aligned with one of its fingers, Assault Balancer becomes a cable able to absorb electrical energy from opponent, side armors added to protect its cannons, and it can expand its throat making it easier to consume living creature. Its respiratory system also serve more as the body's air filtration system, such as a means of cooling its overheating.

MetalGreymon +(Plus) is a heavily modified version of Greymon made to be able to utilize various weapons, and most significant accomplishment - able to accomodate human pilot with a Control Pod behind its head. Type-Q Equipment are named after the Qilin equipments it uses, which comes with the levitation unit and claw. It also has a more powerful Chest Energy Blaster in place of missiles, and can be custom fitted with Tri-Magnum Cannon. Yet out of the advantages given, since it is over-modified to only 20% organic parts left, it greatly reduces its average lifespan, notable from its degrading skin color from orange to blue.
