History:

Amie lived out in the country with her dad, living out on a farm and helping him whenever he was asked. Her mother wasn't around, having passed away during childbirth. During her few years in high school, she found a class about metal work and decided to take it as well as getting encouraged by her father at the idea of her working with metal. While there she did gain an interest in working with metals, it wasn't what her father thought it would be. She really enjoyed making and creating jewelry and knew that this is what she wanted to do with her life. It was also around this time that she came out to her parents, telling them about how she felt and being trans-gendered. Her father was supportive for the most part, but constantly switches between pronouns and her birth name and her new name. Although school was important, her parents would sometimes make her stay home from school to help with the farm. She wasn't able to fully complete her high school career when she wanted to. She had to stay for another just to complete high school. Although she would have preferred to have gone to college, she instead moved away to find her own way.
