Description
A painting I did a few weeks ago in watercolor, ink and a little acrylic for highlights. I felt like doing a pinup, and as I was browsing through my sketchbooks, I came across the sketch of a frog nymph. She took about 5 hours I think altogether.Related content

I definitely wouldn't have known what to expect when hearing "Frog Nymph" but your result is quite beautiful, sexy actually
The whole pose and anatomy are very well done, I especially like her raised hand - and that you have kept the froggy-ness not only in the skin but in the feet too! I guess it would've looked even better if the hands were a bit like this too, but nevermind - the overall details of this are nice, like the red waterlily to contrast her green skin and her ears too
The skin is absolutely amazing, it looks very realistic and slick and cool and just frog-like! I'm sure it was a lot of fun to paint that, I just wonder what media you used for it... copic markers, or watercolor, or a mix?
I love how the hair is so Art Nouveau - Like, just with the outlines and the rest filled with orange, it looks very good with her orange skin too.
Aaah, just praise XD I hope I don't come off as trying to suck up, I'm just really impressed :] please keep up the good work!

Why thank you! I regret not putting webbing on the hand too, but oh well, maybe next time. This was one of my most fun pieces that I have done yet. For the medium I used all watercolor for the most of it, black ink for the outline, brown ink for the inside details, and white acrylic for the highlights.
Don't worry, every comment of praise is such a treat to me, thank you so much!

Thank you! I wanted her to look slippery, like a froggy! Lol! This lady was way to much fun to color. Need to do more like this.

Yeah, the skin is definitely impressive here. The way the hair kinda transitions to a...uh...liquidiness ('zat a word? I don't think so ) is also pretty cool.
Them toes don't do it for me, though .

Thanks! She was a lot of fun to work on because she was so different than any other female I have created before her.

Thanks! I wanted to give the impression that she was slick as if she had just come from the pond.
