Description I don't know if this is a WIP or not, because it's been sitting in a folder since I started drawing Gems. I may end up redoing the whole thing. This is the general concept for the many kingdoms of Homsai. My favorite is the valley Kingdom of Bright, where the First Hero came from!

Some additional info: (Ask Me Questions!)

The Colossus Mountains are the largest mountain range on the planet, controlling weather and travel across the globe. Stretching over the magnetic poles on both sides, they are a seam created by the Great Beast during the Breaking of the World, one that fused the landmass together. They are populated with volcanoes and frequently rocked by earthquakes. Such earthquakes once destroyed the Windblown Empire; the Windblown hollowed out hundreds of mountains and tunneled thousands of miles through the unstable rock... and paid for their industry. A few of their abandoned monuments have been retaken by descendants of their people, but mainly the intricate valleys are completely uninhabited. These mountains divide the super-continent in two: a smaller and more densely inhabited southern region, and a vast northern region of dense forests and glaciers.

Duskajet is a rather beautiful land of plains, springs and beach deserts. Homes are typically carved of sandstone and inhabited by peaceful herders. They have a rainy season that is long and mild, casting incredibly rainbows over the land. However, the southern portion of Duskajet has scattered cities made of vast amounts of strange steel and its people are ethnically very different; locals are generally dark skinned with bright gold, red, and white hair. They are also very tall. Legend says that these people fell from the sky thousands of years ago. Many strange treasures, inventions and secrets lie in the libraries... and even in the alleys.

Lots! I'm still putting it together but I know it all by heart. Homsai is a post-post-post (nearly a million years and multiple major disasters) apocalyptic continent that contains the last descendants of humanity. New Pokemon and races have emerged during this time and the majority of humanity lives in a heraldic society.Which area would you like to know about?

Wow that is one interesting backstory! 😱😄
This place seems more fun than what Nintendo has given us to explore in the main series games.

Could I get more information on the kingdoms of Firerock and Bright and what is beyond the border at the top?

Thank you so much!

Finerock Kingdom is the most populated country in Homsai, steeped in the heraldry and mysticism of the Faith of the Wells and ruled by an aging King. Rich forests cover most of the land and the commerce of the Grandiane River has also made this land incredibly wealthy. Due to their monopoly over binding technology Finerock is the only place one can acquire a Well. (A Well is an amulet-like device that captures and contains several Pokemon, binding them to you by your own life energy. It also can use the energy of other contained Pokemon, enabling a person with four Pokemon to catch a more difficult enemy than a team with two or three Pokemon.) It is a very large and well-placed country, with a large southern grain basket that feeds the entire southern portion of the continent.

The Kingdom of Bright was the greatest kingdom of ages past, with beautiful castles guarding the border and the wealth of the legendary Pokemon Wellspring feeding the realm. It was ruled by a powerful family of Witch Queens and Kings that descended from the First Hero, the most well-known of which is the Queen of the Waters. It is a land of rocky hills and pine forests, with cascading waterfalls that pool into vast lakes. Long ago the Queen fell. Now the castles lie in disrepair, abandoned for centuries by a royal family who cannot seem to find their way home. The City of Crystal - where once those with special abilities were taught - lies empty and cold. Tales of hauntings and great evil keep all people away. Perhaps Wellspring still dwells here, somewhere. If a member of the royal family of Bright were to return and find it, maybe the land would return to greatness.
