I...don't think you can be skilled with posing. Models, stages, sure, but that's not what I'm getting at My point is that well, there is no point in making 'art' when you're just using others' models and stages! Are you lazy for doing so? Yes! That is what I think. But I have absolutely nothing against those who worked hard to make their own original models or stages. They are artists in their own right ^^

Actually there is a difference in posing 'skills' between a newbie and someone using MMD for a longer time, your argument is invalid. Those people who just started using MMD usually do very simple poses because they must get used to it and how the bones work. People who use MMD for a longer time and pose models alot, have a better 'feeling' how to make the pose look more natural. So I can say by my own experience, that you actually CAN get a 'skill' in posing models.

Modellers make stages and models for reason. They don't make it for themselves to look at it. They are skilled and use their abilities to make something that you may continue using for the art purposes.
And no, you're wrong. Maybe we don't model our own whole models for MMD, but 90% of the community edits models in PMDeditor, which believe or not but requires skills and effort too. Making a pose that will look detailed and proportional to the model body is also a challenge.
If you never try to make a really good looking MMD picture, you will never understand. Because setting up a background and posing a model is a half way and if this is all you see in MMD then well, leave and never look at our work again.
Saying shit about something without properly knowing it... really smart.

Again, it's nothing compared to the effort put in by other artists in making those models and stages.
