I am always working on dragonfly designs. I don't think I would get this particular one inked but I do like it nonetheless.I've had a thing for dragonflies most of my life. I know enough to know that technically what I'm talking about aren't actually dragonflies but damselflies. Most people refer to both as dragonflies (which they are actually both allowed to be called) and no one ever knows what I'm talking about when I say damselfly so dragonfly it is
I have four slight variations of this particular design. The first one I did is actually the best but it's a horrible scan, too smudged and scrappy looking to upload unfortunately and in redrawing it this was as close as I could come to the original *sigh* I may, however, get one of the other variations uploaded at some point. I just need to fiddle around with them a little more first

If it's alright with you, I'll be getting this design as my first ever tattoo within the next few months! <3 I love it, it's feminine and pretty. I'm currently in recovery from an eating disorder and dragonflies for some reason seem to be associated with ED's, so I want to mark my triumph

Just giving you an update--still planning on getting this ink! As of right now I'm planning on getting it done in April!! I'll post a pic once I get it. Much thanks for the design again!

Another update--my birthday was this past Sunday and I'm getting the tattoo soon [: There's also a very good chance my mother will also be getting this design with me to show her support! I'm super stoked, thank you again for this amazing design. I've spent the past few months browsing designs just in case something I liked more popped up, but yours is still the one I'm in love with and nothing else came even close!! I'll be back with pics as soon as I get it

It looks slightly warped because I took the pic myself with no mirror and I had to stand at a weird angle, but it's over my spine on my mid back, that's my bra-strap! My mother got it also, except she got it on the back of her neck!! When I have the time and money, I'm going to get side-by-side professional photos of the both of us with both tattoos visible. I'll be sure to post it if/when I get them done!

I have to say ... I have been looking for a dragonfly picture/drawing to use as a tattoo for about 4 years now, but until now... I have not even come CLOSE to finding something I liked. So... what would I have to do in order to get your permission to use this drawing for a tattoo? You also wrote that you have 4 slight variations of this design - would you care to show me any other dragonfly drawings you may have that are not posted on your site? I would love to see them. I don't mind at all if you want to use this. And I do have some variations but I stress that for the most they have very minor differences. But I'll see if I can find them and get them loaded this weekend.

Hey there. I've been having a lot of trouble
finding a dragonfly tattoo design that I really like and this one is pretty much perfect. What other dragonfly tattoos (besides the celtic ones that I saw of yours as well) could you do? I would really love to see what else you can do with a dragonfly. I love this style that you have here.

Not a very defined realistic dragonfly. I've always liked either the tribal style of tattoos or what you have here with a flowing pen line.

That would be great. The only other way I would think to be able to describe the way it is sketched is like a less detailed pen sketch.

Well, I'll be getting the variations of this one posted sometime over the weekend hopefully but I have been working on a few other designs along with some paid work. Just bear in mind that I've got a 6 month old daughter and she pretty much dictates when and how fast I can work
