This is a reworked version a rather sloppy sketch I posted some time ago... Than sketch has been sent to scraps with great relief it was hideous...

Anyways, that's an illustration to my fanfic (Russian language, sorry).

The scene is as follows:

"- That's enough. You've had some fun, now let her go.

The whole group turned and stared at the newcomer. It was a well-built man with a wild crop of ashen hair, tied on his forehead with a headband, for some reason rakishly pulled over his left eye. The lower part of the face was also hidden under a mask, so from the whole face only the right eye was visible. He was wearing a strange outfit, consisting of a dark uniform, over which was a vest with a stiff collar. On his hands he wore fingerless gloves with metal plates. He also wore a backpack, a belt with numerous cases and pockets, under the backpack - another rather roomy bag and a short scabbard, and a holster bag on his right hip. His shins were wrapped in bandage, and he wore unusual-looking shoes with open toes and heels.

The man leisurely took off his backpack and leaned it against a tree, after which he looked at them again with a calm, even somewhat bored look and nonchalantly put his hands in his pockets, as if he had met some friends. Out of the corner of her fear-clouded consciousness Arina noted that at the same time the man radiated almost more danger than her tormentors. And he wasn't afraid to go up against four people alone, although he was definitely inferior to at least two of them in the weight category."

«— Довольно. Повеселились и хватит. Отпустите её.

Вся компания уставилась на вновь прибывшего. Это был статный мужчина с буйной копной пепельных волос, перевязанной на лбу повязкой, почему-то залихватски надвинутой на левый глаз. Нижняя часть лица была также скрыта под маской, поэтому из всего лица виден был только правый глаз. На нём была странная экипировка, состоявшая из тёмной униформы, поверх которой был надет жилет с жестким воротником. На руках — беспалые перчатки с металлическими пластинами. За спиной у мужчины был рюкзак, на поясе — ремень с многочисленными футлярами и кармашками, под рюкзаком — ещё одна довольно вместительная сумка и короткие ножны, на правом бедре — сумка-кобура. Голени были замотаны в бандаж, а на ногах — непривычного вида обувь с открытыми носками и пятками.

Мужчина неторопливо снял рюкзак и прислонил его к дереву, после чего снова посмотрел на компанию спокойным, даже несколько скучающим, взглядом и беспечно засунул руки в карманы, словно встретил приятелей. Краем затуманенного страхом сознания Арина отметила, что в то же время мужчина излучал едва ли не больше опасности, чем её мучители. И он не боялся один выступить против четверых, хотя как минимум двоим точно уступал в весовой категории.»
