Description
This is a patch that I was commissioned to create for a new Star Trek Fan Organization called Starfleet Sol Sector Command (Sol Sec Com). The organization is currently under development and I am in charge of the graphics as well as the website design. Once everything is up and running I will post links so that any Trekkie who might be interested can check out the fan organization and possibly join.STAY TUNED

coelacanth1938 The center section was based on the patch seen on the sleeve of the landing party duty jacket seen in Star Trek II and Star Trek III which represented the Sol Sector. In that patch they had 2 ringed planets, I do agree that it is wrong but I was going for consistency

It looks real nice, but we have only one ringed gas giant (Saturn).

We have four. Jupiter and Neptune have faint ring systems as discovered by the Voyager program. Uranus has a well defined ring system and has the same pole facing the sun at all times as it was knocked on to its side earlier in the solar systems evolution. Only bug is Pluto as a planet is a glitch, but I say Pluto is a planet all things considered.
Nice work viperaviator.
