u where hiding this one from me
good material choice and the 2D is good aswell... i dont understand if the material is transparent d00d.. the beams in the top left blend into the piece and the ones on the right dont. personally i think if the left = right it whould be better.
the grid is very well placed too and the 2D inside the piece is also very well placed. i luv it d00d. keep it up!

and...free time...lol...i have NO free time right now...but i spend every free minute i have to do stuff...and on weekend i create 2 or more pics...and the PS work i do over the week...

Ok, very cool, then i might try C4d. 3dsmax's advantage to C4d has always been that 3dsmax is able to save w/ an alpha layer, but if the new version of c4d has that ability aswell i will surley give it a shot!

Yeah it does look like a mecha, the white "orb" on the left looks like the head shell thing and the weird bars below look like weapons, nice work!
