Description
Created with Mandelbulb3Dv189Formulas used: waveIFS and amazingIFS
This is my first attempt at using reflections I followed Quick'n'Dirty: Reflections and TransparencyFractal Art Week
Note: these are not the holy grail settings for reflections and transparency. They are what this is called: a quick and dirty approach for those who (like me for a long long time) need a place to start and experiment from. All in here is based on what I found out myself or what I was pointed to by kind fellow DA-members. If you find fault with it, have additional tips or whatever, please drop me a note
Errmm... Maybe it's not such a Quick tutorial after all... :}

Reflections galore, and very elegant ones too
I tend to use far too much reflection, need to learn to hold back a little on them! Having said that I am rendering something... with far too much reflections...
Thank you for the mention, Gina, very kind of you!

Thank you very much, trying to learn everything I can, I was used to tweaking other works from everyone, I decided it was time to try and do it myself, thank you for creating the tutorial,

Working from scratch is very hard in the beginning, I found... Prepare yourself for a lot of grumbling and desperately needed tea-breaks I started that way, hardly ever tweaking at all in the first year. But I am glad I did, I learned so much by starting at zero. It's hard work, but once you've got the hang of it, it is so very rewarding!

haha I have cursed my computer out on many occasions, I am so happy for the history folder to, I sometimes forget to ssave something that I had rendered while I am working on it, then I am shouting "NOOO", but I have learned that its more exciting when your starting form scratch, because you an say wow look what I created all on my own. And to think 2 years ago I was so intimidated by this program, now I have and understanding of what I'm doing, and with awesome people like yourself sharing your tips, params, tutorial, etc. I have grown to love the program
