The angle is perfect and I also like the choice of a monochrome in this one. Where was this taken?

Excellent shot and angle...it's almost surrealistic in it's scope...love the use of b & w which adds to the mystery of the scene...what's on the other side of the bridge...lovely work...

Thank you. On the other side is just a field that leads to several hiking trails. The bridge crosses a small stream.

I really am! I'm getting up at 6 tomorrow morning and hoping to get the sun coming up. I've never done that before.

Excellent! I like sunsets a lot more than sunrises but they tend to be very difficult to get a decent photo of

I've gotten a few sunsets. I'm not much of a sky person, but I just want to try my camera at everything just to see how it does.

Yeah, the only thing I really like are those fiery red and purple sunsets. Or cityscapes, here is one of the few shots of mine that I actually like [link] taken probably around 7-8 years ago with a 2.1mp cybershot

Oh that is nice! I love the streaks!

This is one of mine. I'm only proud of two, this one [link] and another titled "Break Free".

Although "Lowering Skies", while not a sunset, still holds a pretty special place in my heart. Because it was right after a storm, very close to dark and is titled after my favorite phrase of any book ever. Very fitting I felt, so I love it.

Aw! Thanks!

I got several but, I did not get a horizon shot today. I left out this morning with the understanding that it was only going to be 81 degrees but by 10:30 it was well above that and I had hiked some pretty gruesome trails so I came back home. It is sooooo hot. If I had known it was going to be so hot I would have went to higer elevations first to get the shot for you. You can't trust the weather people anymore.

But I will be going back out first thing in the morning again and I'll head directly to a nice hilltop and take something for you, I promise.
