Actually, I find it pretty helpful (and I absolutely looooove your style), plus the link to the other tut is handy too. Also it's nice to see your notes on the image that say there's simply not a correct way of doing things and the part with the rough perspectives I particularly like ^_^

This tutorial is really nice and viria I think you should not insult your work. I mean in tutorials or something don't write things like "nonsense, full of crap, useless" etc because even you think it's not good it actually is for many many people. Rely on your work, be positive about it, believe me these are helping a lot of people

"Everyone" starts with a circle, but I always start with an oval and make adjustments to the contour, depending on the character. I'm pretty sure I was taught to start with a circle, but for some reason I never found it useful.

Also I'm having trouble drawing people's faces front view--especially their noses. It always ends up looking like some sort of a pig-nose or the like.
