Yes, I agree.Β I've even heard an atheist once say, after learning of a fellow atheist's death (and many disputes on a forum between themΒ about life after death), that: "Well, she knows now".
This comment came from one who always stood firm in the idea that "we are born and we die and that is IT. We rot away in the groundΒ and exist no more".
So for them to make that comment told me they felt, somewhere inside them, that the dead ARE aware.Β That,... knowledge lives on somehow...some way.
