**EDIT: Scrapped for obvious crappiness. I consider this experiment failed.

So, this is round one of the contest-with one hour to spare! XD The battle goes something like this:

Turn One: Froslass uses Confuse Ray on Aaron (Aggron). Meanwhile, Steelix and Mienshao are readying their attacks: Iron Tail and Hi Jump Kick.

Turn Two: Mienshao's and Steelix's attacks collide, creating in instant double knockout. (Steelix and Mienshao have both fainted)
Meanwhile, Froslass uses Thunder on Aaron. This shocks him out of confusion. Aaron absorbs the electrical energy and then uses it to power up his Shock Wave attack. Froslass is knocked out.

Result: Steelix and Aaron win (Wyatt's team).

The process I used was a little complicated, something I haven't tried before. First I sketched out the scenes in Photoshop and printed them out. Then I inked them and scanned them back into photoshop, cutting out as much white as possible so only the black lines remained. I then painted the colors in with food coloring, scanned and color-corrected the paintings, and overlaid the lines back over them so they would be more prominent. I did the backgrounds and the Confuse Ray in photoshop, a few tweaks here and there, and voila. Also, I was unable to make purple with the food coloring (it ends up brown), so I pained the purple bits in blue and color-corrected them after scanning.

Next time, I think I'll do all the backgrounds and stuff with the paint and only do color corrections in Photoshop.
