i've got the impression that tarkovskij's movie was shot on polaroid film...any idea or information ?

i know that tarkovskij used to be quite into polaroid photography, there should even be a book with all the pola he shot over the years

somehow they must have influenced his visual genius

yeah i have seen the book..i was wondering if he was using some kind of polaroid bulk film for shooting movies

yeah honestly i don't know
perhaps it was some sort of soviet made film? I don't think he was allowed to use any other brand due to the urss regime

i also remember that for stalker the first copy of the film went completely destroyed in the lab (or they messed up something with the processing and all the negatives were useless) so tarkovskij had to shoot everything again from the beginning (actually i can't remember if it was stalker, or another tarkovskij's film, but i'm pretty sure it was stalker..)
