I thought they applied a fake tan so it could highlight/contrast (don't know the correct terminology) their musculature. The shadows and everything. Might be wrong though, just giving my best guess and what I heard on a show on MTV lol

There's nothing wrong with being a little dark. Color adds diversity to the world. Also I think them being tan helps make their muscles appear more defined.

Nope, There is nothing wrong with put a lot of make up Me too, I use darker powder to make my face alive. My skin make my face look like a ghost
