Nice. It is supposed to be war. but because I am obsessed with merman, mermaid and sea creatures. He can be a merman whom are transform into human and in a great great pain.

The calm is gone. Loss. No one ame to him. Subtle use of color, only his flesh taking on color. the crossed legs and gthe hands wrapping his head are so touching. Is he trying to sleep, or is he absorbed in his loss.

see this as more internal than war-like, despite the combat trousers and the rubble - for example his hair is coiffeured, his hands aren't on his ears they are round his temples, absebce of any weapon and the exposure of the body, far from easy shelter, isn't fear of an external force it's more a collapse in space.
Totally understand that if really the figure were a combatant that these points would be ridiculous but this is just an image and it spells out a different message of internal war painfully composed in grey and stark flesh -

You executed this perfectly, my friend. The moment I saw this you tugged on my heart strings, for it represents a reality for some people who have to live with fear of the horrors of war. It does not look like a pose to me, it truly looks like the young man is terrified of the sound we can all but imagine is occurring. And you hope, that he'll be okay. That he'll make out of that place alive and well. Yet, the damage has been done - the agony of the moment has already taken its toll.

its weird that the responses to your image are not what one would expect. I would have to say how horrific an image. Since I am here in a safe place I have no idea what war is like - I am ignorant to the suffering and sorrow associated except from what the television and internet portrays. I think for the most part, most people who don't suffer first hand will never understand what war does to a person's thinking, motivations, and ideologies. I'm not saying that your image is wrong - it's just painful to look at something to know it is real and affects so many in such a horrible way.
I hope you keep you and your models safe at all times. And good that you are willing to make statements even if most people never look close enough to understand the truth.
