I'm sorry I'm not very good writing in English, good that you know what is happening, just an observation, we do not zhgem houses, shops and cars. Here everything is quiet calm. But the image of the All-Russian consciousness is very cool

vodka like not all, often drink it as it is cheaper, among my friends a lot of people are drinking whiskey and skates, I prefer wine and liqueurs, so that's a stereotype

most people I know like vodka, when it comes to hard liquor, since it's easiest to drink. This doesn't mean they always drink vodka (40% alcohol hardly makes up for a standard beverage 
And I'm aware, that Russians do drink other stuff (I'd say, most popular is beer), I didn't mean to offend.
