The Greeks knew what a real man was supposed to look like. Chiseled, athletic and powerful! Defined to the last detail. Why can't the rest of today's society see just how incredible this looks? Instead of men that look like this in mainstream media like movies and TV you've got wimpy beanpoles like the guy who plays Edward in Twilight.

You managed to capture the lighting very well on this statue. I'm actually surprised how well. I would have expected alot of interference from the museum's lights.

Why work hard to look like this when you can have a 3D Rendering of a character that looks exactly the same?
You can't level up and fight gnomes in real life.

In all seriousness though you are quite right. I miss when men were actually men. Nowadays, especially in movies they're far and few.

Aside from the beard, I really like this statue's anatomically-correct athletic physique. Them Greeks are such wonderful human perfections back then.
