Absolutely beautiful. His body is a work of art and dedication on its own.
I love the mix of old and new with the antique looking furniture and mask contrasting with the brand name. Love it.

I think this is perfect. The negativity was most likely on purpose. I almost get a "glutton" kind of vibe from this. How Rome had become so inflated, taking territory it really couldn't handle. And then just watching as it all fell apart. Like they were above it all.
This is just gross yet perfect at the same time.

I find myself confused about this picture. Is it meant as a political statement or as a true glamour portrait? As a piece of art it certainly does evoke feelings in me, so in that sense it is very effective, I'm just not sure that the feelings evoked are what was aimed for. The attitude of this picture makes me uncomfortable, maybe even a little angry/disgusted. The brand so obvious on the underwear is also off putting. If the goal was to be a bi off putting and to create a negative reaction than you did very well.

I dont hate this photo, but i dont quite get the message...the model is splendid, the lighting and composition very well done...but as some of the others in comments below mentioned...the branded underwear totally throws this piece off...i love his relaxed gaze, and the contrast of hardness in his body...to me, its almost brilliant...

the mood of the photo is great! i have to say, though, the underwear/Calvin Klein thing does throw me off a bit. It might be better as a nude shot, or if not, a tastefully placed cloth would work, and would fit the whole theme of the photo better.
now if this were a fashion shoot, then i'd get it.

Two things about this I find utterly unappealing. The branded underwear and the fact his abs are so defined they practically look like brains. It's an excellent photo but the level of (as somebody below has posted) decadence is almost sickening for me. As a piece of satire I would love this but taking it seriously? This photograph utterly repels me.
This is not meant as a blind stream of hatred, I very much respect the work put in and countless smaller elements which make this piece fantastic. I'm simply stating my opinion on the piece overall and I apologise to whoever might take it and react negatively.
