some years ago i was doing work in the far east - this was before perestroyka, and for an American getting the visa from USSR to go to Vladivostok was not easy! We flew north to Plastun and the Sichot Alinsk Zapovyednik - it was early spring and the forest was like an old dreaming forest, kak skazka! Returning to Moscow we were delayed at the airport in Vladivostok for 24 hrs. and i spent my time in heaven sharing cigarettes with Russian Navy boys. your beautiful photo stands on its own as a fantastic piece of art - but for me also brings back memeories of some of the sweetest moments in my life! thanks man! keep up the great work! i'll be watching!
