I really can't remember how long this drawing took, i did it over 20 years ago now!!! I would guess that it only took about 10 hours maximum. I never had the patience to spend longer than that when i was younger!

Thankyou for commenting First off i didn't use a scanner, i photographed my drawing with a digital camera, then uploaded to pc, better than using a scanner with bright colours. Watercolour pencils are like normal pencils, only if you wish you can apply a wet brush over your drawing to turn the pencil into paint. Or you can just dip them in water to make the tip turn to paint. Having said that, i just used them as ordinary pencils for this one mostly ! if you think of trying them, i reccomend CARAN DACHE watercolor pencils, there's nothing else like them
