Description

Well here's a super popular OC Pony that has everyone's attention 'dead' center on in just eating it up, created by an Author named Pen Stroke, Nyx, from his story "Past Sins". And while there are many images, pictures, drawings, other forms from fans expressing their joy around this character, I to, am a fan of Nyx. Which is why that during my workings with my Author pal, JusSonic, we've helped around with stories Jus made for his own universe. And as of recent events, I helped to create a form for Nyx to allow her to partake in fights, showing skills & abilities she would most likely use as an adult mare. And this OC Form of Nyx was first introduced in JusSonic's 'Road To The End' fanlike story, & likely afterwards, will be Nyx's key point in her future battles. *Nyx's 'Battle Form' Mode*

Transformation: When Nyx focuses her magic from her horn to coat her body, it'll begin to magically develop into a mode form of a stronger pony user of magic. This ability will let the filly obtain a far more enhance power boost from a younger stage development in shape-shifting into an adult stage transformation. This Battle Form can be acquired for all fillies & colts with magical talents, but it only depends on who has stronger magical abilities to pull it off, as not all young unicorns, even alicorns can pull off.

Battle Form Appearance: When Nyx under goes the transformation, she'll use her horn to magically make her filly body grow into an alicorn mare that's as tall as Celestia & Luna, her coat will still be black, she'll have long flowing mane & tail like the Royal Sisters do & almost such when she was Nightmare Moon. However, her eyes remain a moderate opal to dark opal without the crescent from the actual Nightmare Moon, along with her not having the the same armor Nightmare Moon once worn and still having her Cutie Mark & not the one Princess Luna has.

Battle Form Personality: Once Nyx under goes the transformation into this mode, will speak a more different voice of a more mature mare tone in speaking to her friends & love ones about her 'new' appearance with a slight difference. (Note: Think about with Neptune when she goes HDD Mode into Purple Heart from "Hyperdimension Neptunia" series.)

Info On Nyx's Battle Form: After dealing with many adventures with Twilight & her family & friends, including the dangers that have been displayed, Nyx had come to realize that….as a prime target for being a reincarnation of Nightmare Moon, she can't defend herself without somepony to protect & aid her. So Nyx went off to secretly ask Sir Spell Nexus how to change into a form where the filly can be at her strongest to protect those she love. And Spell Nexus explained something called: "A Battle Mode" which was a technique taught to allow fillies & colts in the arts of magic & combat, in how to change into grown-up mares & stallions for physical & more magical boost in feet. And of course, the spell can also let one learn of what the user may grow up to be if they choose to, and the form Nyx takes is similar to what she'll be…only, without the armor part & not like the evil tales of Nightmare Moon described as in the past. It was the perfect way to allow Nyx a shot to fight. Once Nyx went with Twilight, Ben Mare, Spike, Phobos, and Tough Apple joining them, during a second issue with the cannibals in the End of Equestria, Nyx finally revealed her ability to now properly fight, much to her parents surprised shock amazement. During each different area in the End of Equestria, Nyx has shown being capable of using this Battle Form to give her the edge against her opponents…at least, when she thinks ahead to change into her Battle Mode firsthand instead of staying in her filly form. It most cases, some of the gang even register her as Adult Nyx while she's in her 'Battle Form' Mode.

Drawbacks: While Nyx may have acquired the power to transform into an adult alicorn mare to do battles, there is an issue to which Nyx has to overcome. Because of Nyx still being a filly, her child-like emotions can get in the way of her better planning's when she's worried, concern, scared, nervous, frighten, or trapped in a situation a kid can't figure a way out of. Only after transforming into her more Adult Nyx form, will her personality get a mature upgrade to try to look at things differently, but sometimes, some parts of the filly's persona can even effect her judging when in her Battle Form if there was a serious situation that has her mind completely overtaken by an emotional drive: such as anger, rage, worried, concern, caution. Also, when Nyx runs out of magical energy, she'll revert back to her small filly form. Another act is if Nyx in filly form loses control to her extremely sensitive & prone to crying fits when she gets emotionally stress when either being taken away from her love ones or when she can only watch as her love ones are going to suffer a terrible situation unless something saves them, or she snaps out to quickly act.

Beneficial Skills: This transformation was key use to make even young ponies become larger versions to be ready for war. Nyx can change back to her original self anytime, or change back if she's completely drain of magical strength or defeated, but otherwise, this form gives her a chance to perfectly fight & not just stay out of the way like she's done in the past.

Enhance Physical Skill Increase: Once gaining a Battle Mode Form, Nyx's physical abilities are soon boost upwards to a new level state she never expected. She can now be faster, stronger, more agile, more powerful, to be near-equal around Celestia & Luna's physical strength rate. And can even perform 'some' level of intelligence to plan strategies in using her physical abilities to fight off even the giant loose monsters from the Everfree Forest to other big time strong villain foes. Another of her strong suits in her immersive insurance to take a beating, and still keep on going, weather from fighting non-stop monster rampages or surviving a powerful explosion spell that could knockout even a strong contender.

Other Skills: She still retains some inherited abilities from Twilight's friends & her honorary aunts. Like Pinkie Pie's ability to Break the Fourth Wall when it seems convent. And another is being able to use Fluttershy's famous 'Stare' technique to make average foes & creatures begin to develop fear of this move that leaves them traumatize.

Increased Magical Skills: Like any spell caster, Nyx had talent to use spells, a Clone Spell during Lorcan's Invasion, Levitation Magic, Teleportation, even to produce a Lightning Spell magic attack. There are many others she can basically perform that may or may not have seen, some of which, can be performed far more powerful when in her Battle Form.

Magical Techniques: Most of the spells, magic & techniques may also be from her direct connection with Princess Luna & Twilight Sparkle (Even Ms. Moon of the Apocalypse Ponies) that they can also perform these certain spells.

-Luna Barrier: Able to cast a light-blue barrier wall in front of her or change it's form; by stretching it's layers outwards to cover more in the front or form it into a barrier dome to be protective of those near her or from getting swallowed up by a giant beast's mouth or pouring magnum or acid or floods. It's said that this magical power is likely the special protective luna energy of the moon, and that it is also an ability Princess Luna can perform.

-Night Blast: Projects a neon red energy beam from her horn straight towards her prime target. The impact attack will cause a small red implosion to cause some inflicted damage to the target. This here is mostly, an attack Battle Form Nyx can perform easily against some adversaries, until an even stronger opponent comes along.

-Night Illusion: Able to create illusions of Nyx's Battle Form self by magical illusion blurs to take form of the caster that will surround the foe. One of them is real when they speak, but with so many, it's hard to find the real one, especially when the user makes all of the fakes move, behave & perform things like they were the real deal. And when an enemy hits one Nyx illusion, the fake with sizzle out from being around.

-Gravity Moon-Drive: A technique where from Nyx's horn, she'll increase or reverse gravity to prevent attacks or foes from reaching her. It's appearance is that of a black sphere of dark neon energy with violet volts coursing around it that aids in preventing attacks of close or range from reaching her. Another use is when Nyx is close to her opponent, that an invisible blur pillar force will shift in the air location, and the target opponent will feel their body & area center either be lifted off the ground or weight increased to the point a crater is form to almost flatten them into pancakes while either will leave them helpless to resist. (Note Fact: This technique is unknown while it's power is similar to the moon's gravity ability, but it may have been an ability Nyx figure out to use from her relationship with Tso Lan, The Moon Demon)

-Guardiac Raid: A technique that collects dark magical energy, then fires if off from Battle Form Nyx's horn. The attack takes the form of a black/red crimson sphere of violet spark volts in a three-way split 'Y' form, before being blasted off, impacting the target with enormous inflicted damage results. Note: This skill is said that although the opponent sees the flash of the beam of light from ahead of everything in it's surroundings being changed to darkness, that light is not hope, but the light of demise.

Advance Magical Techniques:

-Unicorn Burst: This was a move she seemingly inherited from Twilight when she used it against Boris The Red Devil first time. By creating a strong concentration on her horn, Nyx in her Battle form can gather a glow of much magical energy, almost like watching a spiraling lightning escape from where it's being stored. She'll bring her horn from swinging it over from her head forwards to aim at a target. Then, a burst of electric energy will shoot out of Adult Nyx's horn like a beam with a drilling edge. It's been noted: That the magical attack can not only hit a target even enough damage, but hit even the side of a mountain, it could pierce it to be a crumbled area to which destroying such a structure of a high feats of magical power.

-Twilight Star Shower: This was a move she seemingly learned to study from Twilight after she used it against Lorcan the first time & again against the Superior during the stolen crown Element of Magic. Her horn will glow with a lot of aqua color sparkles that will float into the air. After she announces off the name of a spell that Battle Form Nyx is casting, above her head will look like twilight stars sparkling in the air before the next phase happens. The very sparkle magical spheres will then fire off like fireworks and all impacting across the field where the target(s) are located. The barrage attack of raining stars will seem almost endless until there are no more sparkle star spheres over the users' head, meaning that the spell will then cease afterwards. This spell is known to be very fast and evasive to land multiple hits to cause enough damage to some or one major force.

-Night Dust: Nyx's body will become dust to be blowing off on it's own, giving her a not-so solid body appearance of just dust. This move lets the body be completely immune to any physical harm of melee tactic attacks, and can move her dust form around to blind her enemies vision & animal's noses to lug their senses from trying to find her. Sometimes, Battle Form Nyx will play with her targets when they are outmatch with her tactic to have them attack what isn't there in their ear, only to hit something else entirely by mistake & causing harm to themselves.

-Night-Star Implosion: A powerful spell move, where Battle Form Nyx makes sparkling stars appear around the targets body by her glowing horn to prepare this stunt. Once triggered, the number of sparkling stars will be converge into a bombardment action of tiny flash spheres that explode like stars imploding from the night sky. Even the level of the vast number use could completely overwhelm the entire sky-range where a giant creature or opponent would be in. This spell is under a class of Magical Energy Sphere Barrage, where it'll be a vicious onslaught from every direction, filling the sky with blinding light & inflicting a massive amount of damage to anything or anyone caught in it. The infliction of this attack will leave much bruises on giant wild beast & on enemy opponents. (Note: Think of this attack move like Piccolo's "Hellzone Grenade" technique from DragonBall Z TV Series.)

-Eternal Night: A powerfully spell that unleashes a aura sphere that covers all surroundings of the user, making everything, even day light become a neon-glow light, like everything was dark & lit with the Moon's luna light. Once performed, causes everything to be froze stiff in place & in time. The user must keep her magic horn glowing to allow her own field in keeping enemies frozen in place, even allies unless Nyx comes in contact to allow them movement. However, the only countermeasure to this technique, is when a powerful opponent of such magical level can easily overcome this, their body glow an aura before it fades, giving them movement to fight. So this spell is something that maybe useful against certain enemies, but against the truly powerful types of unnatural strength, is harder to handle. The spell can only be lifted by the user or if the user is weaken or defeated.

-Giga Guardiac Raid: A stronger version of the Guardiac Raid technique. A large black/violet crimson sphere that glows with an illuminated light will appear, before unleashing into an exploding dark rays beam to completely enshroud the target while it almost sounds like the wailing sounds of a monstrous beast. Getting hit by such a heavily dark magical attack can cause serious damage infliction to make it hard for average or strong opponents to resist or block unless they are truly overly powerful to cancel it. But it's power level can even push even giants to be sent flying across to smash into the side of a mountain or a towering building structure.

Items:

Legendary Holy Item; Aegis: The design appearance was of an asp etched with the carving of a white maiden from a dark emerald center of the shield while the rest were a gray lining & structure. This item has a very rare ability, said to have been with Mystic beings (possibly Mystic Ponies) before disappearing & was lost….until Nyx found it & has become the keeper of this Legendary Holy Item. Therefore, the stronger & more earnest feelings Aegis experiences, the greater the effect. (Note: It's possible that this item maybe related to Twilight's Necklace of Eternal that performed a miracle that saved Ben's life & Spike's own long ways back.) Another ability is when Aegis vanishes from it's holder's grip to reappear to grow in size until it covers the user & allies from any attack heading in their direction by an enemy. Once performed, the shield will only block 'certain' attacks while more powerful types will just take a few beatings to break the shield apart to scatter across in pieces before afterwards, magically returning to it's small form state.

-Use Of Holy Item: Aegis uses the strength of any person's heart to protect others for shielding & healing. During so, within a white shield barrier form around the user & friends, those within could almost instantly see something that protects them, that looks like the spirit forms of the ones they care for, as they form a line wall with shut eyes as if focusing; just before soon their spiritual forms began to fade a bit into energy particles. Afterwards, the holy light flashes against the wounded, the light healing to seal & close wounds up all over, making injuries fade & lost fatigue & strength return.

Mystery Of Nyx's New Hidden Power?: It was said that Nyx's magical power was significantly weakened due to Luna taking back the bulk of her power (it originally being hers, as Nightmare Moon), and then an escaped essence of darkness transformed Nyx into Nightmare Moon during the Demon Pony before the darkness was gone from the Love of Eternal necklace Ben Mare gave to Twilight that can perform miracles of hope. Another event in the End of Equestria in Bony Valley, showed when Nyx was in Battle Form, unleashed a tremendous amount of magical aura that was overboard to defeat the Guardian; Saint Anger to vanish from the magical overwhelming force. The signs from the battle in Bony Valley estimate Nyx's lost powers Princess Ceelstia gave to Luna are slowly coming back from how Nyx is getting stronger to regain her 'old' strength, but without being all evil & looking like Nightmare Moon. Nyx thought while in her filly form, thinks that be a nice thought that her old powers (without the evil touch) would return when she grew up more, but even Nyx never expected that they work faster for her in Battle Form. The rest of the mystery of Nyx's hidden powers rising while in Battle Form is still left a bit in the dark…for now?

So this spell is something that maybe useful against certain enemies, but against the truly powerful types of unnatural strength, is harder to handle. The spell can only be lifted by the user or if the user is weaken or defeated.

-Giga Guardiac Raid: A stronger version of the Guardiac Raid technique. A large black/violet crimson sphere that glows with an illuminated light will appear, before unleashing into an exploding dark rays beam to completely enshroud the target while it almost sounds like the wailing sounds of a monstrous beast. Getting hit by such a heavily dark magical attack can cause serious damage infliction to make it hard for average or strong opponents to resist or block unless they are truly overly powerful to cancel it. But it's power level can even push even giants to be sent flying across to smash into the side of a mountain or a towering building structure.

Items:

Legendary Holy Item; Aegis: The design appearance was of an asp etched with the carving of a white maiden from a dark emerald center of the shield while the rest were a gray lining & structure. This item has a very rare ability, said to have been with Mystic beings (possibly Mystic Ponies) before disappearing & was lost….until Nyx found it & has become the keeper of this Legendary Holy Item. Therefore, the stronger & more earnest feelings Aegis experiences, the greater the effect. (Note: It's possible that this item maybe related to Twilight's Necklace of Eternal that performed a miracle that saved Ben's life & Spike's own long ways back.) Another ability is when Aegis vanishes from it's holder's grip to reappear to grow in size until it covers the user & allies from any attack heading in their direction by an enemy. Once performed, the shield will only block 'certain' attacks while more powerful types will just take a few beatings to break the shield apart to scatter across in pieces before afterwards, magically returning to it's small form state.

-Use Of Holy Item: Aegis uses the strength of any person's heart to protect others for shielding & healing. During so, within a white shield barrier form around the user & friends, those within could almost instantly see something that protects them, that looks like the spirit forms of the ones they care for, as they form a line wall with shut eyes as if focusing; just before soon their spiritual forms began to fade a bit into energy particles. Afterwards, the holy light flashes against the wounded, the light healing to seal & close wounds up all over, making injuries fade & lost fatigue & strength return.

Mystery Of Nyx's New Hidden Power?: It was said that Nyx's magical power was significantly weakened due to Luna taking back the bulk of her power (it originally being hers, as Nightmare Moon), and then an escaped essence of darkness transformed Nyx into Nightmare Moon during the Demon Pony before the darkness was gone from the Love of Eternal necklace Ben Mare gave to Twilight that can perform miracles of hope. Another event in the End of Equestria in Bony Valley, showed when Nyx was in Battle Form, unleashed a tremendous amount of magical aura that was overboard to defeat the Guardian; Saint Anger to vanish from the magical overwhelming force. The signs from the battle in Bony Valley estimate Nyx's lost powers Princess Ceelstia gave to Luna are slowly coming back from how Nyx is getting stronger to regain her 'old' strength, but without being all evil & looking like Nightmare Moon. Nyx thought while in her filly form, thinks that be a nice thought that her old powers (without the evil touch) would return when she grew up more, but even Nyx never expected that they work faster for her in Battle Form. The rest of the mystery of Nyx's hidden powers rising while in Battle Form is still left a bit in the dark…for now?
