Thank you for using my stock. I love how the stone female figure looks like she just thrust up out of the water. Also, the coloring of her against the darker images of the columns from my stock, the sky, and the building to the left makes her appear to glow. She is definitely alluring.
Great job!

You're Very Welcome & Thank You Very Much!!!! I'm really glad you like the work. I always worry that the people's stock I use won't enjoy the piece I've made with their work.
Again, Thanks!!!

Yep, not bad at all. Hard to tell about the details, from this since the statue playes a smaller part in the whole thing, but still, the textures look ok.
The splash hitting the girl might have been a little better, maybe a little extra tones/detail thrown in to the splash might have been nice, to give it an even better/same look like in the waves of the photo on the foreground.
Hmm, oh yeah, and this is just a matter of personal taste, not really a flaw. But I would have got rid of the greenish tone on the statue, and used the same tones those buildings have, maybe a gradient on the statue that uses that dark brownish tone and a little brighter shade of grey. The buildings have them both, and that way the whole thing would look more like one, you know, would make the blend work better. But then again, there is green statues out there a lot, so the way you chose to go is not wrong either. But it does sort of make the statue stand out a little, and maybe in a way that many will think instantly think "shopped", and move away from the whole thing.
Hmm, can´t compain otherwise I guess. Oh, except that the background removal on the buildings could have been slightly better, they look a little blurred now, and if you really want to get that good blend/somewhat realistic style, then there shouldn´t be any blurred edges anywhere. Unless you´re shooting for motion blur or something like that. But that´s something that´ll come with a lot of practise, I recommend using the polygonal lasso for background removal, combined with the zoom-tool. That way you can get extremely close, and can remove exactly what is needed, and the cut is crystal-sharp, not blurry.
Hmm, heh, quite the rant. But anyway, not bad all in all, keep it up. And if you happen to run any problems with something and need help, feel free to note. Not sure if I can help though, I´m not an expert on many different things, but still, have some sort of knowledge about the techniques.

Heh, didn´t realize you had the full-version available. The details & textures on the statue are decent, no complaints with those. The emboss effect shines through a little, it could be a little more subtle maybe. Oh, and the border on the left of the statue has that tiny amount of white. And with the hands edge having a shadow, it looks a little off. The shadow indicates that the border should be pretty invisible also, more black rather than white.
But the texturejob is still decent in any case, and the model does look like shes made of stone, so pretty good job still with turning her into a statue.

Ahhh, I see what you mean. Again, thank you for the input. As I said in the description, this wasn't meant to be an actual peice. I'd gone home and started playing around with the ideas you'd given me and I kinda liked the way it had come out so I thought what the hell, let's put it up and see what others think.
But, now reading what you've said, I can easily see what you're talking about and will play with that more on the peice that I really wanted to do in the first place. So, honestly, Thank You Very Much.
When I'm done with the piece I'd initially intended to do, I'll shoot you the link again, and hopefully "knock your socks off"!!! Or at least that's my plan!!!
Cheers

Thank You Sooooooo Much!!! I'm really glad you like it!! It's always a little stressful when using someone else's art/stock for a work of your own. I hope they think I've made great use of it, as opposed to thinking that I've destroyed one of thier pieces.
Again, Thank You!!!
