Wow, that is is insanely clean.. It'd hardly be distinguishable from a classical portrait if it had a bit of glaze. The flowing curvature of her left arm seems a bit off at the wrist, but this is still a stunning piece.

I'm really glad to see appreciation of beauty in this classic style. I'm very disappointed that the person who featured this didn't even bother to make a comment. I really love your selection of yellows and greens. Her jewelry is fascinating, but I feel it stands out a bit too much. Love the smoothness of her hair too. Congrats

I'm stunned by the attention and perfection of the detail, particularly on the shading of her face and jewelry.

Thank you so much for submitting a piece like this. I also thank the staff for giving it a DD like it deserved. For several months, I've been seeing nothing but nude yet very thin white girls getting awarded with daily deviations. It's not that I'm racist being white myself, but it gets very stale, old and boring to look at day after day.
Then this piece came along. It wasn't a photograph, but it was still very refreshing to see a piece that revolved around another race and culture. Seeing stuff like this makes me appreciate the different cultures around the world more and its beauty instead of being closed minded about it. Without differences among the people, the world would be a very boring place.
This piece deserves a dd. It takes time, patience, practice, and talent to get oil paintings right and have it come out strikingly beautiful. great choice!
