'please oh please oh please oh please' I begged to no one, 'god oh please get me out of here'
Based on a nightmare.

I was treading water in a large room with very high walls and no doors. The only light came from a red bulb in the corner. It illuminated little, and would randomly flicker and go out. It was so dark I could not see all the walls of the room, and the water itself was black as night.
There was nothing for me to hold on to, and the tank’s true depth was unknowable. The longer I was forced to try and keep myself afloat, the more panicked I became. I knew there were many creatures all around me and below me, and my struggling movements would draw these things to me. Unseen fishes- or something else- would often brush against my legs and feet, sending jolts of panic through my every nerve. With no way to excape I could only tread water and cry.

I remained in the tank until I woke up.
