Thank you! It's a first time for me doing a traditional scene like this

There beryl, pearl, and opal pale,

And metal wrought like fishes' mail,

Buckler and corslet, axe and sword,

And shining spears were laid in hoard.

I love this song.

We should have more blacksmiths like that today, it's a really cool job

I can vow for this. Kinda.

I trained as a Goldsmith, and although I can't say anything about knowing the other person through their work, as I never had the chance to work at someone elses work, I can say that each workpiece developes kind of a personality.

And nowadays it's mostly just soulless machines programmed for efficiency

a nice setup for "Butcher".

(also pretty nice on its own I guess ... a bit uncharacteristic for Vitaj tho!)

Why hello there L-Train! It definitely was something new for me, I've recently begun doing those "twin paintings", when one scene looks serene, warm and happy, while it's sibling has a dark, macabre spin to it.
Inventing positive scenarios just to twist them around later makes for a very entertaining concept for me, plus I finally have an excuse to express myself more in what I do xD
