Description
This is the parakeet of my girlfriends brother. He has the Dutch name for John, "Jan". He keeps learning new things to sing. Sometimes he is quiet as depicted on this drawing, whilst at other times he is flying around wildly in his cage or tjirping loudly. He is scared of the stairs in his cage, as it seems.

I drew this on paper first while sitting next to Jan. It seemed like he was posing, as he remained very calm. I guess he liked being drawn. After that I scanned it in and colored it with SAI.
