Cool! It's just funny, because I saw it pop up in Photography Inc and yet it's been up since February of last year.

A remarkably warm take of a cold sunset... very good!
Magnifies the apparent stillness of winter, yet enhances the slight wind effect.
This is all warm and cold, stillness and movement, stale and rich.
A very successfully thought out and mastered portrait. Yes I know, but a portrait still!
My only negative take would be your use of the black frame which doesn't bring anything because your shot is already so complete, but imposes a "landscape" type perception to the shot, taking some of its "naturality" away; even if I understand qwhy you do use it.
Thank you for sharing.

Thank you very much
You may be right about the frame, sometimes I think it's nice, I'm a bit annoyed by DA's greyish green color.

Well, for some reason it is one of the most difficult things to decide.
You try one and the other, then when you look at it again, it's the opposite that seems good.
Then once you think the subject settled, you realize that it gives a whole different thing on the page itself. Sometimes you can't even tell why.
You do a lot of photos.
You should take a couple of very "typical" shots in terms of the balances you feel good about, and post several with different frames. And ask your viewers for preferences and comments. It could be valuable for all of us.
Just a thought.

I felt that a compromise was right. It is a much narrower frame now, If you update the image. You were right about the frame, it was perhaps a bit too dominant.
I do not want to upload several similar photos, I'm worried that people will get bored.

Yes it is much better. At least to my taste. Concerning a possible test, imho it would depend how you present it. I do not know the site well enough to give you a pointed advice, but it seems to me that if you were to present it as precisely a test to find out what people perceive you could do so without harming their perception of your art. In a poll or status update.... don't know what is used but I get some like that once in a while.
You have (from memory so I apologize if I'm wrong) a pretty large viewer/follower base. That could work out.
Again, it was just a thought.
Be good and keep at it!
