I dunno why,but whenever I see coonomon,I thought about meeko from pocahontas,and instantly think of shaman theme when I see his mega form,am I the only one? XD
btw,why didn't you put this on "classic evolution" folder O.o
but,I love his digivolution,never thought about a racoon digimon before,so this is great!

You are totally right! Coonomon does look like Meeko! I didn't notice until now. I totally forgot about pocahontas. (never liked it much as a kid) He's basically Meeko as a Digimon
And you are also right with the shaman thing. o.o So maybe Karyuudomon is a shaman after all. A hunting one that is.

it was just instantly slipped into my mind,well since meeko is related to pocahontas and pocahontas is ..well..indian? indian people is highly related to spiritual and thus a shaman,so there you go

Uhh..well...not quite.Β Itβs actually more like I threw together random digivolutions that I had in mind.
Oooh actually I think he WILL give me a hard time. He is awesome but Iβm sure he is so hard to draw. How can you draw something so detailed like him and his digivolutions? Thatβs so amazing 
I intentionally gave Coonomon a simple design so that I wonβt have trouble drawing him everytime.

I admit the first time I'm drawing his concept,I still have a hard time to get used to it, but then again when I keep drawing him again and again for his pose practice and all and get used to those details Β
Stygmon and his digivolutions have some reference, mainly for reaper and dragon's skull design for his armor, those chain well..I get the idea from the reaper in persona franchise ^^
But those free days just makes me like a hobo, doing nothing but play,draw,play,draw,coffee,sleepy ..repeat XD

I suppose it's just a matter of habit. It gets easier if you are used to it.
But compared to his evolution Stygmon sure is easy to draw ^^Β
