"Β "Your lifeline...oh, the burning stick." Leo resisted the urge to set his hand ablaze an yell: Bwah ha ha! The idea was sort of funny, but he wasn't that cruel. "

Mm, I didn't intend it to be a particular scene or anything. Just teenage superpower angst.

Ahh, thank you! If I could give away talent I would but a) that's not currently possible D: and b) I personally think it's worth more if you work your way up to the skill level you want to be at. Talent gives you a boost, but in the end it just comes down to how much effort you want to put into refining and developing your skills. So all I can really say is - if you wanna do cool stuff, keep doing that cool stuff until you like the stuff you make most of the time. And then keep doing it until your hand cramps and falls off
Sorry for writing you a paragraph, and thank you again!

Gaaah! for some reason I can't stop picturing Leo with light blonde, kind of spikey-and-short-and-sticky-uppy hair! In short, I see Ryn from a webcomic, "Gaia." .-. The way the personalites seem so alike. And then Jason has darker hair, maybe a chocolatey brown and short, unlike Percy's, black and bit longer, and overall just different.
...Why did I even start with that? Anyway, Awesome picture. I just finished the Percy Jackson series, and I loved it. So, Heros of Olympus, I thought why not? Its right there next to me on the bookshelf! Yeah, there! Yippee!
Not much into it yet, but so far its VERY interesting.
One thing I'm curious about: is "plan C" an inside-series joke? Or is it random.

Thank you! Very interesting interpretations you've got there; I'm trying to visualize it and my brain's producing some strange images. Maybe I'll draw 'em out sometime . It's been a while since I reread PJO/HoO and I've pretty much fallen out of the fandom, but it's still a fun series. Plan C - it's kind of an inside joke? It has to do with Leo and [how he feels about] his fire powers; it's not really that important and you'll probably get it after you finish the book. I don't want to spoil anything for you, so I'll just leave it there.

You're welcome! And that would be cool, I'd like to see what you come out with.
I get it now, and the book was amazing! Hopefully I can dash over to the nearest book store and grab up the other books soon!
