"The tentative first taste of innocence lost."Hope you enjoy. This painting was inspired by a photograph of my beautiful mother when she was around my age and inspired by a stock photograph of a girl and a cherry that somehow turned into the likeness of my mom.
Since the stock that I used as a reference is a fellow deviant's stock I shall provide the link here. This person has a wonderful gallery of girls with amazingly good expressions and mood.

This is so lovely. The things that totally grab me are her lips and the delicate necklace and bracelet. Everything about this painting is soft and just... just lovely. The expression in her eyes... makes me wonder what thoughts are running through her brain... I feel a kinship with this girl.

Great textures, specially the hair, which looks awesome. I find the wrist a bit big when compared to the hand, and I'm not sure about the tip of the ear, I think that it should be a bit up and to the left, if you trace a line to the base of the ear, but those are minor details, and doesn't substract to the overall kickassness of the image

Then the pain that caused just paid well, it's an excellent pic! Very emotive and great choice of colours. Only her wrist looks a bit bigger than it should be and the place where the nose and eye iris join needs a bit more of definition, it's a bit blurry and gives the nose a strange form.

Beautiful! I love the detail you put in. Right down to the muscles in the neck. The sparkle of the jewelry is a nice touch and the background is beautiful with the black against it

This is very beautiful. I always love your painterly style and its just pure beauty and elegance her^^ I love the way you've transformed a marvelous photo into something so beautiful. I love the minute detials of the soft hair that flows down, and the ear is really cool. Adds a real fantasy feel to it. I also love how that bg goes quite well with the elegant elf-lady. Very well done.

lol...I think you misinterpreted what I meant. What I really meant is that I love how your ref pics give you inspiration to do such wonderful paintings^^ The way you use ref pics reminds me of He too uses ref pics and paints something beautiful using the phot as a ref. Which is what you do as well.

The photo was only used as a reference in no way was the orginal photo altered or used in a manipulation.
I simply use photos for reference only (unless I note otherwise.)
