ok some explanation, from the last page of my comic, Ryltak pushes Zane out of the way running from the humans (who eventually catch ryltak)

Zane down a cliff and into a fast running river, days later little filly Elyse finds him on the riverbank paralysed after she sneaked away from her dad the king.
She returns every day to take care of him even though she shouldn't be.
In the beginning Zane finds it annoying and just wants to be left alone to die, he's been alone for so long and no one accepted a orphan guardian into their family since guardians can be unpredictable as children.
Eventually he warms up to her and because of her he recovered.

One of his dad's servants sees that Zane is in fact the son of a stallion that had once been Banished, a very dangerous stallion.

Elyse's father uses his magic to make them both forget eachother existed, but for some reason Elyse does not...

She spends years waiting, thinking it was the bond they had that kept her from forgeting and therefore he should come back for her...

She meets him one dark night after she was sent to deittan's father's kingdom and instantly recognises him, but wants to see if he does to so doesn't say anything.

Zane didn't remember, when he was forced to walk her back to her kingdom she found out that he offered to bring her there to take revenge on the king during the king's re marriage,
don't worry it's not elyse getting married

But then, for the first time he looks to Elyse and that is the first time he had seen her without a smile on her face, and as she looked straight at him....
