  I know I'm super late at this point, but I just didn't have a feel for Rootspring's design til now

So headcanons:

- Shadowsight and his siblings
    - Shadowsight and Dovewing are small, long-haired, floppy-eared, and chubby. Shadowsight's just barely taller than Dovewing, and his markings are mix of his parents
      - Shadowsight has his dad's eye color and mom's eye shape, Lightleap has her mom's eye color and dad's eye shape, and Pouncestep's are somewhere in between
      - The colorpoint allele was introduced their family through Cloudtail: Whitewing, Dovewing, Myrtlepaw, and Pouncestep are colorpoint, Ivypool, Bristlefrost, Flipclaw, Thriftear, Dewnose, Baypaw, Shadowsight, Lightleap, and Ambermoon are carriers for the gene
      - Lightleap's the biggest and oldest sibling, Shadowsight's the smallest, Pouncestep's the youngest
    - His fur is thick like Tigerstar II's, but long and fluffy like Dovewing's
    - Looks way younger than he actually is; did you know that he's the oldest of the TBC protags?
    - Has Toyger ancestry through Tigerstar II; therefore his stripes are dark, thin, and braided
    - No way in hell he has short fur, Warriors Wiki
    - The lightning strike left white streaks on his face, chest, and shoulder, and damaged his eyelid, giving him a slight but permanent sag
    - How is he still alive at this point?
    - Someone give him a hug

- Bristlefrost and her siblings
    - Absolute unit of the trio; second biggest cat in the clans, even after Rootspring's glow up
    - Has these cute ear tufts she got from her dad
    - Ivypool's color palette, Fernsong's body frame
    - Is a black-striped silver tabby because I said so, and it's so much prettier than the "Solid Gray Cat #4™" we got
    - Bristlefrost's the biggest, oldest sibling, Flipclaw's the smallest, most huggable sibling, Thriftear's the youngest, skinniest sibling
    - Short, thick, and spiky fur all the way through
    - RIP Bristlefrost's personality, LS-TPONS, you will be missed
    - Seriously tho, I hope it doesn't get permanently downgraded to "moons over Rootspring"
    - Spiky butt and neck fluff because I said so
    - Big, pointy ears from her mom
    - Stripes are thick, angular, closely spaced, and curved
    - Bring your daughter to Leafbare Day

- Rootspring and his sister
    - Fourth biggest cat in the clans (tied with Bramblestar, for now)
    - Golden chocolate tabby
    - Has his dad's stout build and small ears, and his moms long tail and hind legs
    - Needleclaw's taller but skinner, so the Sisters didn't realize she was related to them until they saw Rootspring
    - Short, neat fur with just a bit of scruff on his head
    - Shaped like a friend
    - Tiny paws are a trait of the Sisters, and Rootspring didn't want to be excluded
    - His eyes are an intense shade of blue; under certain lights it looks purplish
    - Needleclaw's a cryptic tortie because I headcanon Tree as a golden red tabby
    - Stripes are wavy and vary in width and spacing, like his paternal relatives' stripes
    - Chubby like his dad
    - Needleclaw has her dad's eye color
