Check out my new and improved babies !
I've been trying my best to make these dolls 100% original and unique- and this is the final out come ;v; I personally adore them so I hope you guys do too!

I do need some help with a name for the species, traits, and other facts/mutations - so do feel free to leave plenty of ideas below in the comments!

ahhh they're so cool, i love them! just curious, is there a reason for the shape of then neck (the bump)? maybe they store fat in it or something (like a camel's hump)?

And yes there is ! Its an air sac and works much like those on a Reindeer's neck, which holds air in order to make a unique sound when the neck is stretched forward c:

oh woah, thats so cool! i didn't even know that about reindeer and definitely haven't seen that on a species here, so thats very unique! i'll be keeping an eye out for these guys :^)

I love the sheer amount of fur on the tails of these guys, that fluff is to die for <3
I don't have many ideas for you right off the bat, but perhaps I could propose some questions first? I love asking questions when it comes to developing worlds and characters haha! (: So here we go!
1. What is the level of their sentience? Do they have human or animal like intellect?
2. Do they all have a floral/nature pattern on their coat, or is that a unique trait only some carry? If the former is true, does this at all factor into the role they play within the wider world they are a part of, or is it simply an aesthetic without significance apart from that? (I love that leaf pattern, either way <3)
3. What sort of world are they a part of? Is there magic? Or are they meant to fit into our world and the natural laws we abide by?
I could think of a lot more, but I don't want to overwhelm you lol! I do look forward to hearing back from you (: You have these off to a great start, and I look forward to seeing you develop them further (:

I did have a small trait idea, more aligned with biological function than much else. I know some animals have certain characteristics they use to show off in courting - perhaps the leaf markings could serve a function such as this. Either because they make the creature more striking, or because they characterize something about their nature that would be attractive in a courtship ritual. If not the markings, they could use their manes, tails, or width/length of neck to the same extent. Just as an infant thought - in quick reference, think something along the lines of the bird of paradise haha(:
