I read some articles about shamanism and started to think that without really knowledging it Esra has grown to have all those features from the 6th sense to harmony with nature & himself, he does travel in dreams and all that stuff, I just haven't thought about him being a shaman before. But, yeah, that works well for him so from now on he officially is a shaman.Especially that part from one article (written in finnish) about shamans laying under the sun for hours and hours without doing anything, that's him for sure!
Oh yeah I think those labyrint-look alike tattoo things in his chest are starting to become something meaningful in his world, since this is the second time I drew them to someone and really started to think about them.
One more thing I have to note, he does not have horns. Just some shaman stuff, hehe.

Now more serious comment-time. I really liked this the first time I saw it as half scetch, Esra has so gorgerous eyes and everything about him in this picture is just perfect. I love the colors, intense look on his face and everything. He is so lovely. And I has him in my phone.

Mikään ei koskaan ole sinun vikasi, never admit! Hmm, periaatteessa kaikki shamaanit rakastaa aurinkoa mutta käytännössä, jos on sopusoinnussa itsensä ja ympäristönsä kanssa oloa niin voin sanoa että you are doing shamanism well, pimeässä huoneessa tekemättä mitään.
(Älä kysy mitä ne on) Joo on ne jotain veitsiä tai teräaseita! Koska fabilous. Voi kaivella likaa kynsien alta kun tulee tylsää. Mulla on jotenkin outo ajatuksen kulku tänään, voi johtua eilisestä alkoholista.
RUOTSALAINEN CITYKANI! Ajattelin että pitäiskö piirtää pieniä eläinten kalloja tai jotain kuolleita lintuja tonne päähän mut ois alkanu näyttää ehkä liikaa joulukuuselta niin tyydyin ruotsalaiseen citykaniin. After photoshooting siitä tehtiin poronkäristystä.

Niin shame on me, pitää ehkä vielä kuitenki vetää tää työ takas netistä ja lisätä kuolleita (ruotsalaisia) citykaneja (ruotsalaiset citykanit on kuitenkin lajinsa edelläkävijöitä), lintuja ja pienjyrsijöitä roikkumaan tohon vähän jokapuolelle. Ja vaikka jotain eksoottisempaakin.

You know, I think that's the best part about having a character that's all your own and that's how you know they are 'real'. When the character literally surprises you with something you didn't even know about them.
This is a beautiful piece of work, but your description-text is actually the real highlight of this, in my opinion! 8D

Sometimes I'm about to lose my hope towards posting anything to DA, I really like it when people have an opinion and they share it, but unfortunately, people rarely do that and that can be so frustrating.
But once in a while comments like these appear and recover my hope towards people!
And as they say, great minds think alike. Your words are exactly what I was thinking about when writing the description! It's amazing to notice that sometimes characters kind of grow on their own in their creators subconscious and suddenly they have all new features to offer. Especially when, for example, my characters have been hanging around for years and years, they have that time to grow!
I feel flattered that you are complimenting the description, I feel that no one never reads them anyway so thumbs up for you!

Heh, thanks! Kalderasha, the character you see on my main gallery page, is my oldest friend and I've had him around for a long time. He still surprises me with various things that he likes and doesn't like.
And I thrive on descriptions. As you may have noticed in my gallery, nearly all of my images have some flavor text in the description box that almost never gets commented on--which is fine since I write it mostly for myself or the select few that I know will read it anyway. But you have a double talent--you can draw and write which is an incredible boon. I can draw enough if I have something in front of me, but you can give life to your characters in a way I doubt I ever completely will. I'm sick with jealousy! 8D

Hehee, kiitos salarakas. Olen itsekin aika tyytyväinen koska tuossa prosessin aikana kuitenkin avartui monta asiaa koneella piirtämisestä jotka tavallaan tietoistin ennemminkin mutta en osannut hyödyntää niitä, kunnes suddenly something snapped in my head. Tästä on ihan hyvä jatkaa. Ja Esraa on inspiroivaa piirtää joten hyvä kohde muutenkin.

Uuuu very hypnotic eyes! And antlers are always good. Tykkään erityisesti tuon taustan luomasta kauniin utuisesta tunnelmasta. Ja tuosta pienestä asiasta (luu?) joka roikkuu tuosta vyöstä ja joka näyttää vähän minipieneltä zombikädeltä. Ja tietty noista silmistä ja jotenkin intensiivisestä ilmeestä!

Aivan, antlers oli se sana mutta en jaksanut googlettaa. Pelasin yhtä online peliä joskus mistä sen opin kun piti pölliä sarvia joiltakin peura-asioilta, mutten sanaa muistanut. Snif.
