Here's my submission for the contest, hope you like ^_^About the little japanese characters on the right bottom of the pic:
Hikari no naka de mita osanai kioku wa
kegareta kono boku ni wa ima mo toosugite
yami no naka, kimi no na o nando mo sakenda
owaranai toki no naka de kimi shika inakute
Translation:
Inside of the light, I saw my youthful memories
They're still too far off for me, filthy as I am now
Inside of the darkness, I called your name over and over again
Inside of the endless time, there's no one there but you
^_^ From Gackt's "Birdcage". The song that inspired this drawing actually [you should listen it really! Especially if you like those violin/electric guitar mix songs] The song is kind of dark though, but then again, Kagome and Inuyasha's relation isn't all pink and butterflies.. o.o to me at least...
or maybe I've read WAY too many fanfics.I really like how this one came out, it represents just the feelings I want to show, and the feelings the song wakes up inside of me

This image is really good, except the maiden within the image looks more like Kikyou than Kagome. Which I would prefer Kagome I don't like but if it were Kikyou it'd be alot better. All in all good damned work

Absolutely lovely! The only problem there might be is Inu's forehead (though maybe that's just me). I love the colors you used, and their expressions are great. It strikes me that they might be close to kissing, or maybe its more symbolic. In any case, good job.
