This is my impish Puck/Peter Pan type character. Maybe even a young Hades. He's so pretty and innocent but I want to show a sort of wildness to him as well. Nothing evil, just untamed.Model is

He's dreamily beautiful...and I adore the wings too. They have a very nice arrangement. We sometimes get fireflies. Not a whole lot. But enough to share that same feeling brought up by jademacalla. When you just want to reah up or out and take a piece of universe in you hand so you can thank it for being there and so perfect.

Love the facial very very mysterious and the dark background in perfect. Thanks for using my stock wings and yes the are ciccada and I have them worked plus a few dragon fly wings to the transparency they were orginally in nature but only psd and png files will preserve the transparency and many told me they couldnt use or open the png. Take care

I've been keeping my eye on this stock artist for a while. His innocent face and interesting work has completely drawn me in. I'm so happy to see you using his stock, because he is a name that really should be recognized. I think he has a bright future ahead of him ^_^

Can't tell you how I love those dragonfly wings (if that is indeed what they are). Such perfect lighting, and really strong composition.
With all due respect to ~Erevos , I'm afraid I have to disagree. Pan, and his ilk, fill a particular necessary archetype (as that is what all the Pan's of the world are specifically FOR). But I, for one, am overjoyed to see such a masterful personification of this aspect of nature. The use of the image of these firefly-like plankton clearly points to early summer twilight. For anyone who has hiked through the foothills of northern Georgia at roughly 40 minutes past sunset, there can be no mistaking exactly who and what facet of nature this image illustrates. It is an aspect of nature that is calm, and sleepy, and feels as if all that power and energy and burning fury has exhaled one long, eternal breath and now just wants to smell the jasmine and watch the stars.
This is Pan's aesthetic brother.

I think they are dragonfly wings, or maybe ciccada? (The photo didn't say.) Thanks for the comment, my sweet. You do have a way with words. The Georgia twilight sounds lovely. I haven't seen fireflies since I was a kid in my grandma's backyard.

Fireflies are very, very close to magic (and, of course, for all we know they are...).
It is now one of my official goals in life that we shall all be together again someplace in the gloaming, water dancing in the background, and all of us lit by fireflies.
Tim'll have to learn to play the harmonica (Pan pipes were too obvious

Hmm, good work on hair and overall feeling but you are right. He is way too calm for a creature of nature. He should represent energy and instict and purity if he's going to be something like pan. His face should be illuminated by the joy of life!
