This is gorgeous. No seriously. Gorgeous! Even without the title, I think anyone that even vaguely knows this story would be able to figure out what's going on. It's beautiful. And the body is positioned just so that we get the feel that he's plunged into the water hard and fast, and the ocean is very, very deep. Well done!

I knew when I saw the thumbnail in my box I was gonna be all happy and bouncy! And now that I had the time to look at him full view...I am! I am all happy and bouncy! He is beautiful. Especially the water bubbles encasing his body.
I always loved this story...*Thank you Jim Henson's Storyteller for making me love all the old myths and fables even more as a kid*

Very nicely done. So often when one thinks of Icarus the image is of him in mid-air, plummeting, wings furled around his body, perhaps spiraling. I like that you have taken that scene beyond the usual. And the cool blue water is a wonderful contrast with the heat of the sun that sent him thither...
