Portrait of the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda.NOTE: Due to people stealing my original artwork (this one, for example) I felt forced to change its size, I feel sorry for the bad quality and size, but hey, give thanks to thieves.

Whoa, nice work here. Looks like he's about to kick some ass using nothing but his monocle. THE POWER OF HIGH CLASS GLASS.
Also, his nose seems to be a bit small here, at least compared to his DMC3 model. His nose was a bit large there, don't you think?

Am I the only one who believes that there should be a prequel with Sparda....probably going through when he rebelled against Mundus and took the side of the humans?

And 5 months later we are back and DMC with the new Dante is out.....I haven't played it yet, but what do you think about it?

I find the game a great experience (in playable terms, it is way better than DMC 4 I think), but both the design of Dante, and the "tone" of the game (dialogue, and the way Dante speaks and acts)... a bit too cheesy xD. He looks like a spanish "cani". Just google it and you'll see :S. New Dante sucks as hell... even with the rework... but hey, just my opinion!
But hey, you sure have to be proud of Ninja Theory (they are english studios!), they did a outstanding job regarding the other aspects of the game 
Returning to DMC... I hope Capcom guys finally make our beloved classic Dante to return, and of course, I'd love Ninja Theory to continue working on next titles of the franchise

And two months and I have finally played the new DMC.....I was pleasantly surprised. Overall I think Ninja Theory did a good job on the game, they focussed more on style, actually filled in the lore between Sparda and Eva,gameplay was solid, and to be honest, I don't think Dante was THAT bad of a character. Cheesy yes, but it did feel like he started to care by the end. Also, I really liked Kat.
But if I have to mentions negatives.....I hated Vergil. He was just a dick, and I really didn't like how he turned out in the end. Boss fights felt a little shallow, story could have been a little better, not too fond of the ending.
Other than that, Ninja Theory have shown that they can do something on DMC,wish to see where else they go with it.

Well, I saw that monocle in another fanart, you know... is really difficult to find REAL artwork about Sparda to use as reference
