I LOVE this piece! I love the fact you love maps, as do I! It really show in your works! if i could give one bit of criticism it would be that you could have used the vertical lines as world time zones?! I think that would have topped it off perfect. Will still put it as my background nevertheless!!!! and as someone else said it would have been more fun to use this kind of map back in geography in high school thanks for a wonderful artwork!!

As this wallpaper for my inspiration I searched DeviantArt to find more like it, to my surprise this came up in the results. I don't know how I got my hand on it before..
Anyway, great work.

I do hope you know that Urban Outfitters used this design for one of their shirts. I have the shirt if you want proof. Just making sure you know.
Regardless, excellent work!

That's a really clever idea :] I love it when people take a simple, yet intelligent idea, and make it into something bold and wonderful. I could actually read Irealnd, surprising as it's soo tiny xD Nice work....I'll have to favourite this....

I saw this in the thumbnail version and fell in love immediately.
This is absolutely amazing. I like how the typography is styled too - even though you can't see the entire word, it's still very legible.

Well, it's not really achieving what you're trying to go for. The image is created by the white outline, not the text (as typographic art is); it's just labeled in an interesting fashion. You've done the map very nicely, though.
