Phil can be the kindest and sincere country that one can encounter, but as history and culture has proven that, once pressed his wrong buttons, expect a sh*tstorm to happen. Sometimes, the brightest sunshine won't last long in this narrative.

I've observed that majority of the artists here in the CH fandom who draw angsty Phil using the inverted flag and bearing the name of Martial, (In reality, the Philippine flag was *never* inverted during the period of Martial Law [1965-1986], and the inverted flag was only used during the Philippine Revolution, WII, EDSA I, II and III Revolutions, and infamously Communist insurgent groups. But I am not against on their works ^^) so I tried something different instead:
I decided that Philippines wore a mask to hide his 'Kagitingan' (Valor) eye, and it can only revealed if he's really pissed off (then the flag inversion will follow after if he's 100% pissed) then black tar oozes out. The design of his Kagitingan eye, contains an old pre-Hispanic colonization Tagalog (Baybayin) letter Ka, which is also used in some flags in the Philippine Revolution militias and currently on military seals today that represents valor and bravery for the countrymen. .

Sorry if this doesn't look as iconic as other Martials ; - ; Originality is my main priority over norms.~ Hope you guys like my interpretation of my angsty Phil! <3
