Description
This photograph was taken inside of Vlue's Experimental Laboratory on August 9, 2008. These photographs are for documentation purposes only and are top secret. Any replication is prohibited. What you see here is the experimentalist testing to see if his Bio-Luminescence Apparatus tests positive. However, as a result, the experiment has been exposed to human error, leaving the test specimen digitally transposed inside of the computer monitor.
This is a long exposure light painting photograph. If you would like to learn how to take shots like this, check out my Trick Photography and Special Effects E-Book or my blog post .

kekeke nice chat about the image... so why do eight exposures or whatever @ thirty seconds each... why not just open up the shutter for as long as you like and get it all in one shot... your method seems a bit tedious to me... like the shot tho

because my camera can only take 30 seconds max and I don't have a remote or cable release to go past that 30 second limit. You can also put stuff in and take stuff out because your images are all separated. it gives you more room to mess up

Woah this is cool. ^^ Its all neoneyish... (I'm a simpleton... And am easily distracted from awesome art for simple shiney... Not that I'm saying this is bad, simple or anything, I mean I'm distracted from the awesomeness of this by its neon shineyness...)

Aha! I was wondering how you did so much in ~30 seconds tops haha. Didn't even think about combining pictures.

yep
it's the best way to do stuff like this (even though this is the first time i've ever even combined multiple long exposures)
