This... is a really old piece. And it kind of means something to me.

Okay, so, I drew this in a heft of inspiration during the beginning-ish of grade eight. I was going to colour it and make it beautiful and everything. And my plan was to present it at grad, to culminate our amazing friendship throughout middle school.

It didn't happen. At the start of 2010, I stopped being friends with some of these people. And now, well... most of us just aren't that close anymore. It's pretty sad. I never got around to finishing it. But I decided that I just HAD to upload it and be done with this piece. Who knows, maybe I'll colour it.

But I don't feel anything for some of these people anymore. We might be at different schools, or we might have different friends. Or we just might be different people. But basically, our friendship dynamics are different.

And that's okay. I'm happy with my current friends. If I had to redraw this with those I thought I was closest with now, the picture would probably look completely different. From here, only a few of us would still be in the picture at all, in fact.

Yeah, so.... who is everyone here? From left to right: Karen, Maggie, Zara, Alex, Vivian, Cindy, Alice, Stephanie, me, and Cora.

And if we're no longer close -- that's okay. There's a time where we were, and I think this embodies that. Plus: I actually tried using clothes that we wore at the time. Heehee.
