Name: Beatrix Scarlet
Alias: Queen of Melancholy
Race: Vampire (corrupted)
Age: Unknown. Seemingly 14 years old (appearance-wise)
Status/Job: Mistress of Scarlet Devil Mansion, Scarlet Archivist
Residence: Scarlet Devil Mansion

Description:
-- The current head of the proud vampires of Scarlet and the keeper of Scarlet Archive
-- She inherited the corrupted blood and power from her father, though she rarely uses it to keep her sanity in check
-- Cold-hearted and merciless, she has no problem sacrificing friend and foe alike to reach her goal
-- She is socially awkward and never smiles, preferring solitude over meaningless talk
-- Though she seems heartless, she actually treasures her family more than anything and can easily lose her cool at the mention of them
-- Ever since [the tragedy] she developed a chronic nightmare disorder and phobia of happiness, which lead to her constant dwell in melancholy…

I just realized I never draw a character concept for Beato (shame on me...), so here it is! For those who's not familiar with Scarlet Archive, it is a touhou fan-work project I make focusing around the Scarlet family. Currently there's two main fanfics, one side-story, and illustrations here and there all over my gallery. Check 'em out if you like! For those familiar, you may realize that there's so many mysteries regarding Beato even though I've mentioned her a lot, so I decided to put 'the narrator' to 'the spotlight' for once. And what about [the tragedy]? Fu fu, please wait warmly as the story progress...
