This is from the same exhibition as the spirit-thingy I posted earlier (check out my gallery, btw). It's also carved out of a single piece of ebony and weighs... I dunno, a LOT. A friend of mine who works there says they needed four guys to set it up. This statue is a depiction of regular day-to-day activities in an African village. There's people cooking food, fishermen, all sorts of stuff...
