backstory:
She was born in a small village near a river valley. Her mom is a human, and her dad is a fire spirit. Everyone was very concerned when they saw she was aging so slowly, she ended up outliving a lot of people, and her mother was very elderly by the time she LOOKED old enough to go to school. People in her village started to think she was some sort of bad omen and distanced themselves from her. She was very good in school, but a lot of the kids didn't want to play with her, since their parents said she was bad. One day, her mother died, and she was left all by herself. Luckily a nice lady in the village took her in and raised her. At this point in time, other kids began to bully her in hopes she would run away from the village. There was a miraculous school fire, and a lot of the kids were badly injured, some even died, but Ember was completely fine. The village took this as a sign that she was definitely not good, and they thought she was some sort of witch. Her stress and frustration revealed her spirit form, which ended up setting everything on fire. She ran away, unable to believe what she became. Now she searches for her father and travels from place to place looking for answers
