onion..I really want to make these guys into a species!
worldbuilding is fun, writing lore is not
but here's what I have on them so far:
Species name - Zartsani, Lesser/Greater Zartsan Sphinx
Info:
All
sapient and highly intelligent
generally peaceful
omnivorous
indifferent towards clothes
no trait rarities
wing "layers" -1 = max # of abilities
wing color corresponds to the elemental ability
Available shapeshifting powers:
paws to hands
hide wings
bipedal stance
Available elements:
AN - "air", mind, change | active element
UN - "water", nature, creation | reactive element
IV - "fire", energy, destruction | reactive element
IM - "earth", body, preservation | passive element
Lesser Sphinx
longer bodies
lightly built
horns are more common
up to three wing "layers"
Greater Sphinx
shorter bodies
big and bulky
manes are more common
up to five wing "layers"

They are pretty big! Greater Sphinxes usually stand at 4 to 6 feet at the shoulders, and Lesser ones are 3 to 5 feet at the shoulders
