I like it when artists do that. It just strikes as odd at times when the character's tail stays the same size while the rest of them fattens up. Do tails not contain fat cells? I mean, this wouldn't apply to species like a rabbit, deer, pig, or horse, but I think you get the jist of what I'm saying.
