:Don't Bee late:This new day started like any other day really. The sun was bright over the top of the horizon and the air was fresh and clear.
Courier stretched out his wings and stretched out his legs ready for take off.
He grabbed his bag full of fresh letters to delivery today, after a quick check over the letters, he was ready to fly.
Soaring through the clouds to his first delivery, he followed along side birds flying in their formations.
One or two bugs couldn't move out of Couriers way fast enough and collided with his face a few times,
'I should probably invest in some eyewear' He thought to himself, shaking off the debris of bugs.
At his first delivery, no one was home. So, he left the two letters by the hole of the cave and took off as quick as he could. Courier knew that a very angry badger lived near by that liked to chase him off every time.
The next delivery wasn't so 'normal' though. Courier set himself down only a few meters from the doorway of the owners home.
'Ho there friend!' came

Never ForeverCourier never knew his parents, when he hatched all he had from them was his nest of amber and jasper, a half-painted feather, a rock with his name and a bag.
He carried these items always with him, as he was doing now, to ponder over them and to wonder about his past.
Also he had this cavern. It was vast with many tunnels. Courier never could explore all of it, or find the exit.
Courier pawed away a few rocks to reveal a round, unassuming stone. He searched around his bag until he came upon an oddly pointed piece of obsidian. He guessed someone had sharpened it somehow and left it here, just like him.
He chipped the stone out of its nook and placed it in a small divot, so it wouldn’t roll away. Then he placed the shard of obsidian on top of the stone, and with a swift movement he brought down another rock on top of the obsidian.
Crack!
Courier wiggled the pice of obsidian that was now stuck in the stone, back and forth. As a webbing of cracks spread across the surface, the stone

Courier WTA submissionCourier awakened in amongst his peers in a rocknest he calls home. He rose to his paws, stretching himself meanwhile he let out a loud yawn. Then smiled acknowledging his parents as they hung over a large half eaten rock.
“Hello Couri, Father got us breakfast,” his sister called out with an enthusiastic tone.
“Oh, great!.” Courier replied leaping over the nests biting into a large chunk of a rock.
Courier smiled happily in delight as he was hungry and the rock filled his appetite.
Once Courier finished eating his share of the rock, he got up and looked up to his father. His father lifted an eyebrow as he knew what Courier was going to ask.
“You may go Courier, just do not disturb anyone. Again.” His Father said with a crooked smile.
“You bet!” He replied cheerfully.
Courier then lifted his soft grey wings, stretching and preparing for take off. With a woosh, he skyrocketed up into the sky. Once he got high enough, he hovered above h

My Darling [Contest Entry]Courier flew though the canyon at top speed. She had done something she shouldn’t have, but there was no turning back now. She maneuvered her way around obstacles, careful not to let her bag hit anything. She had gotten this far. She couldn’t risk her precious cargo. The sun sank below the horizon and darkness fell over the canyon. She took her chance to dive into a cave to rest. They must notice it’s gone by now. Courier thought to herself. As she started to settle down to rest, she noticed the cave went back even farther, and decided to explore it. Padding quietly, she felt her way around the deep cave. Before long, it was so dark, she couldn’t find the way out. Courier felt around until she found an opening in the rock. She entered it, and soon enough saw a light coming from a side tunnel. She followed it to find a group of luminescent crystals. “They’re… beautiful.” She whispered. Reaching into her bag, Courier pulled out an eg

[Beblune] WTA Courier EntryThe weather was fair enough for flying, and deliveries had to be made.
So the Beblu prepared to head on their way.
Packed in their bag were pebbles of jasper, spessartine, and garnets to sustain them for the long flights ahead.
The windy canyons and jagged rocks were a treacherous place to live, but very welcoming to the Beblune.
Not so much for the humans who lived nearby, they hadn't adapted to this world in the same way at all.
The "Courier" as they were called by the surrounding groups had become familiar with the local humans.
In return for traversing the landscape and bringing letters and deliveries to the differing groups, they were paid in gems and other luxuries.
Certainly not the most common of arrangements, and some other Beblu thought the Courier's occupation strange... why interact with these aliens? Why not just go about one's business? Oh, but Courier just found them so interesting. That curiosity with the humans' lifestyles made the work enjoyable.
They had always found
